Class Day 1915 Seniors Enjoy Rocky Point Outing

The Class of 1915 from Colt Memorial High School held an unconventional class day with a Rocky Point excursion, a yacht club banquet, and an evening graphonola concert. Students stayed together aboard the boat, danced informally, and read the class history paper and prophecy later in the night with chaperones supervising.

St Marys School closes with medals and praise at ceremony

The St Marys School closing exercises occurred yesterday at 2 pm with many parents present. Rev Father Gillan distributed medals and promotion cards and praised the pupils and teachers for their progress. A pianist recital by Miss Mabel Salisbury’s pupils followed in Grand Army Hall with a large audience and an extensive program led by Miss Helen B. Warren.

Fourth of July Committee Looks to Naval Boat and Funds

Bristol prepares for a possible visiting battleship as Congressman's note reaches the Navy Secretary. The Fourth of July Committee plans a parade with Amoskeag Veterans and names Rev. Charles E. McCoy as chaplain. Funds are short, needing $150 more to meet former standards.

Bristol Retail Liquor Dealers' Association elects officers

The Bristol Retail Liquor Dealers' Association met at Moose Hall Bradford street and installed officers President Robert H. Peterson Vice President James H Head Secretary and Treasurer James F McLaughlin. It plans to affiliate with the Rhode Island and Pawtucket groups and aims to close kitchen barrooms and curb illegal liquor sales. Already 13 local dealers have joined. The group intends to appeal to the Town Council to urge police action against liquor outlets.

Lillian Gish appears at Pastime Theatre tomorrow in The Lost House from Mutual four part, with Nina of the Theatre two parts and Sweedie Collects for Charity. Next Tuesday brings Graustark with Francis X. Bushman and Beverly Bayne in six parts at 10 and 15 cent prices.

Decrees Entered in Morris and Bullock Real Estate Cases

In Providence Superior Court decrees were entered by consent appointing George Farnell as commissioner to take testimony in Morris versus Morris. A separate Bullock et al suit for petition of real estate was referred to Richard E. Lyman as standing master to determine parties. A decree for petition by sale appointed Edward E. Bunn as commissioner with counsel for both sides.
