Council Sets June 27 Meeting On L L Vandalism Question
The Town Council schedules a June 27 meeting with Guicals of the King Philip Little League, the Board of Recreation, and veterans groups to discuss bleacher repairs at Veterans Park and ways to prevent further vandalism. Highway Surveyor Louis Castriotta estimates 750 to repair damage and notes some risk remains due to unanchored sections. the park facilities are not town property, though the recreation board uses them and the league brings community benefit. Green Acres Hopes To Buy Land This Summer
