Town Council Greenlights Aerial Fireworks For July 4 Display
Bristol town council after debate approved the Fourth of July Committee petition to permit aerial bombs for the Independence Day fireworks on the common. Some members urged caution citing nearby ill residents and safety concerns while others pledged patrols to reduce danger. The meeting also deferred a covenant issue with John Pozzi, discussed a local slaughter house dispute, and granted licenses and permits tied to the July celebration.
