Bristol Mutual Realty plans to sell 5 percent stock

The Bristol Mutual Realty Corporation, after regulatory clearance, plans to sell 5 percent preferred stock in $100 units to fund a $42,000 brick and masonry building for Carr Manufacturing. Lease covers rent to pay dividends and retire stock with Carr having option to buy outstanding debt at term end. Construction to enclose 30,000 square feet expected by July 15, machinery installation planned for week of June 20. Garden Club Entries at Bristol Flower Show

The Bristol Garden Club shows three entries at Memorial Hall in Providence for a two day flower show. A June garden replica 9 by 4 feet, with flowers and goldfish, is set near the entrance under club auspices. Firefighters battle two arson linked blazes in Bristol

Police investigate two incendiary fires in Bristol Sunday morning. At 1205 a m crews from four local companies fought a fire damaging the old community raft stored at Ward well boat yard. Shortly after 125 am Engine 9 fought a blaze at Capt Lawless boat house at Walker's Cove destroying the building and lumber.
