Work started on tearing down buildings in Bristol listed as fire hazards or health menaces under supervisor Albert C Vance. Ten NYA workers began demolishing a town owned building on Third School street. other structures on Thames street may be razed unless owners act. Orlando J Bisbane says cleanup includes beautifying the sewage disposal plant area with a new wall, graded land, cement walks, and plant upgrades. Fifteen WPA workers will be employed for three months at a total cost of $4 785 with a 25 foot deep 10 foot diameter well to supply water for plant use.
