Local Archers Win Honors At Worcester Mass
C R Beals and Eugene Heibecker Jr of the local archery club attended a Worcester Massachusetts Memorial Day tournament. Heibecker won two first places with scores of 768 in the Worcester round and 526 in the Junior American Round. Beals placed fifth in the Metropolitan round with 629 as sixty seniors and eight juniors competed. They expect to join Deerfield Eastern Championship Archery Tournament at month end.
