Memorial Day Observance by Babbitt Groups and Scouts
The town honored fallen soldiers with a large Memorial Day parade led by Babbitt Post No. 15 G A R. The march included Kearney Post No. 6 American Legion, Boy and Girl Scouts, and school children. Services at North Cemetery and Burnside Memorial Building featured readings, addresses, wreaths, and taps.
