Delegates from Rhode Island and Massachusetts attend the semi annual convention and field day of the Catholic Total Abstinence Union of the Diocese of Providence at Mount Hope Park Bristol. A large parade, services at St Mary’s, and a steamer voyage marked the day with sports events, a banquet, and a late afternoon baseball match between Bristol and Somerset for a $25 prize.
