Bristols Win Two In Three In Narragansett League Action
The Bristols split a pair of games in league play and won an exhibition. They fell 7 to 6 to the Riversides at Crescent Park after a tense finish, then beat Luther’s Corners 11 to 5 in the Narragansett League. In the Riverside game Bristol rallied with late scoring but could not overcome a 6 2 deficit. The second game featured strong hitting by the Murphy brothers and Kemph, with H Murphy delivering three doubles and a homer, and Eddie adding a triple.
