War Bonds Payable To Estate Or Beneficiary
Rod erick Pirnie state chairman of the U S War Finance Committee clarifies that bonds without a named beneficiary are payable to the bondholder's estate upon death and refutes a rumor that such bonds revert to the U S Treasury. He stresses that only a bondholder naming the government as beneficiary would cause any government claim after death.
