Bristol Adopts $2.23 Tax Rate Down Seven Cents
Tax assessors announce Bristol’s new rate at $2.23 per hundred, seven cents less than last year’s $2.30. The town’s total assessed valuation drops to about $15.0 million, driven by lower intangible property values and a slight auto value decline. The report outlines exemptions, state filings, and a looming special town meeting to approve WPA and road projects amid relief fund strains.
