Bristol Town Moves Ahead on Sidewalks and Pension Plan

The Bristol Town Council outlined a pay-as-you-go sidewalk project along the entire west side of High street to improve safety and walkability. It also discussed starting a Police Pension fund funded by officer rewards and town contributions, with street signs to be installed townwide at a total material cost of 3192 dollars, labor funded by ERA funds.

Portuguese Trip French All Stars In 7 to 1 Win

The Portuguese AA defeated Babe Ethier's French All Stars 7 to 1 on Friday night. Johnnie Andrade drove in four runs with three singles, Cardoza hit a home run and a single, Frankie Sousa pitched well with runners on base, Seu& on held the French to three hits, and Lemaire made a glove hand fielding gem in left.
