Bristol to Launch Chest Examination Clinic
A Bristol meeting of physicians and the Bristol Nursing Association approved a new chest examination clinic. Willis E. Chandler of the Rhode Island Tuberculosis Association highlighted Bristol’s high TB death rate and early detection benefits. Miss Margaret G. Reynolds will manage known cases and assist prospective examinees. The first clinic is set for Friday July 22 from 10 to 12 at Artillery Armory. Dr. Elliott Washburn of the Providence TB League will aid in examinations, bringing years of TB experience and past leadership at the Rutland State Sanatorium.
