Naval Reserves Sail for Atlantic Reconnaissance Mission
The steamer Long Island carried Providence Naval Reserve Artillery Company and six boats from Bristol and Newport to North West Point Gardner's Island. The units will moor in Bostwick harbor, be fed by Cahoone, and spend three days at sea with coast reconnaissances planned. Receipts for house rent and other business pads sold at the Phanix Office.

Mrs Sarah J Munro wife of Benjamin G Monro died Thursday morning at her Bristol Neck home after a long illness from consumption. She was twice married and leaves three children from a prior marriage. One son Rev Montgomery Wales of St George Maine, a former Greece missionary, attended. Funeral Saturday at 2 pm at her residence with Rev A W Kingsley officiating. Bearers were Henry Paull George Luscomb Charles Saisteen Roger W Murphy. Burial at North Cemetery.
