Bristol School Committee Plans Use Of Parish Schools
The Bristol School Committee met Monday night. It approved parish use of Wall ey School by St Elizabeth’s and Our Lady of Mt Carmel for religious summer schools July 10 under the same conditions as last year. It also approved temporary appointment of Mrs Alice S. Pobliraw as Home Economics teacher at Hegh School for the 1945-46 school year with annual salary details and bonuses for several staff members.

John J. Andrade died Sunday. His funeral began at 8 15 AM at his home and continued with a 9 AM high Mass of requiem at St Elizabeth's Church. Rev. Henrique Rocha officiated with Rev. Jesse Moniz and Rev. August Furtado assisting. Bearers were Antone Sousa, Manuel Silva, John Ferreira, Manuel Costa, Joseph Dias, and Benjamin Raposa. Burial followed in St Mary's Cemetery.
