No progress by River police in tracing the alleged theft of the church tabernacle from Holy Name Church last Friday night. A large congregation prayed at a holy hour Sunday and sermons in the masses cited the sacrilege. Officials say the act may have been by a slightly demented person with a religious fixation, treated as insanity in institutions per historical records.
