Bristol Fourth of July Program Features Sports and Parade

Bristol plans a three day Independence Day celebration with a county water battle championship on the common, open air band concerts by the Train of Artillery, a USS Manley destroyer visit, TwiLight League baseball, boxing matches, and a grand parade. Former Guardsmen Form 243rd Coast Artillery Veterans

Gen Callan Protests Need Of Special Relief Funds

Heads Up to Be Presented Here in Bristol Theater Week

A farce heads to Guiteras Auditorium with Burnside Lodge Knights of Pythias presenting Heads Up on Thursday and Friday evenings. The campus style parades, Gay Nineties gowns, and a courtroom spoof feature Bertram W. Wall as a judge and Edward Leclerc with Lucien Capone in prosecution roles. Cast includes Nora Dwyer, Marjorie Burgess, John Magee, George Boutilier, and Roswell Bosworth in a Vermont comedy filled with lively sketches and choruses.
