Bristol Education Conference Calls for Better School Publicity
About 200 attendees at the Bristol Education Awareness Conference at Roger Williams College urged improved school department communication, plus greater parent and community involvement in daily classroom life and long term curriculum planning. Suggestions included a monthly or quarterly newsletter for taxpayers and a weekly column for non English speakers, with volunteers to assist in classrooms and more open Houses to boost engagement.
