Bristol Recreation Board Tops State Ranking
Ray Cabral elected chairman at the Bristol Recreation Board vend first meeting of the year on January 23 at the YMCA. Joining him are Onry Correia as vice chair, Mrs. Fred Ferris as secretary treasurer, and Mrs. Frederick Nenna as publicity. Nenna replaces Miss Hattie Brown. The board shifts meetings from the first Thursday to the fourth Wednesday each month. The Bristol program is named by the Rhode Island Recreation Society as one of the three best statewide, noted for high marks in daily and weekly programs.
