Officers include Mary Poffenburg as senior vice president and Jane Biggs as vice president. Public installation is set for January 11 at 1 30 p.m. in Veterans Hall with department officers present.
A wartime letter describes Britain as cheerful and hospitable toward American soldiers. The author praises British hospitality, resilience, and culture, noting censorship limits and predicting postwar exchanges between Yank and Briton.
