Transfusion of Blood for Mott at Rhode Island Hospital
Marcus L. Mott of the Rhode Island Hospital remains in critical condition after a blood transfusion from Augustus Mercier of Warren at 11 o clock Sunday. Mercier’s donation, the fourth or fifth offered, helped stabilize Mott who has suffered blood loss, with prior infection in his right hand from a wood splinter and multiple hospital procedures since Dec 28.
