A cheering ovation greeted the return of Dr. Munch as the orchestra rehearsed on January 16. The group will perform in Providence on January 29 at Veteran's Auditorium with Dr. Munch conducting.

The Bristol County Rainbow Mothers hold their monthly meeting on Thursday January 31 at 7 30 PM in the Masonic Temple Baker Street Warren. Refreshments will be served by Mrs Frank Daley assisted by Mrs Ernest Swinson and Mrs Viall Stanley.
Bristol County Council of Church Women sponsors a February series of prayer meetings each Friday at 1 p.m. in the Rose Room of Warren Methodist Church led by Mrs. Walter W Swanson with the theme The Promise of Prayer in preparation for World Day of Prayer on March 1.
The Rhode Island Hospital collaborates with the state to launch an evening cancer detection clinic for men over 40. Held at the George Building, Rhode Island Hospital, on the second and fourth Tuesday each month from 5 to 8 pm, the program offers a full physical exam, chest X ray, and labs, with referrals via the AI Division of Chronic Diseases.
