Morino Named Architect for Elizabeth Church Complex Plan
Samuel M. Morino of Providence has been chosen architect for a parochial church and hall to be built by St Elizabeth's Church and described by Pastor Rev Jose R Rocha. The project would occupy church property between Wood Street and Monroe Avenue and hold activities from 1 to 8. A parish building fund drive since last October has raised over 50 000 in cash and pledges. Morino also designed Trinity Episcopal Church on Open Street and serves as adviser to the town's World War II Memorial Committee for a proposed municipal building.

City officials, merchants, and U S Rubber Company employees weighed parking limits and possible condemnation of St Mary’s land as part of the proposal. The meeting discussed extending Bradford’s south curb eight to ten feet and delaying Ferrara’s traffic plan pending further hearings.
