Painless killing of dogs praised by Science
Dr. B W Richardson has developed a carbonic oxide chamber that suffices to euthanize dogs humanely. A London home for lost dogs houses a chamber capable of 100 victims at once, and over seven months more than 6000 dogs have been put to sleep. The method, inexpensive, may be extended to sheep and other food animals.
