Manuel Perry Valante 23 of Metacom Avenue pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle without a permit. Judge Linde muth ordered a two week continuance with bail set at 500 dollars after an accident on Wood Street involving six year old Joseph Federico. Violin worth six thousand stolen from Boston car
Alexander S Basilevich of 574 Hope street reported to Boston police that a violin valued at 6000 was lost from his parked automobile on a city street. The instrument, made in 1783 by a pupil of Stradivarius, was purchased last spring. Basilevich, an engineer at United States Rubber Co, was en route from Bristol to Maynard, Mass., when the theft occurred during a Boston stop.
