Deputy Revenue Inspectors Dolan and O'Hare with Swansea and Somer officers found a home made still late Monday night at Louis Garron’s residence off the main Swansea road near Lee's River avenue. Two glass jars contained distilled white whiskey. The lower part of the building housed a family, the upper used for distilling. The still ran on an oil stove and used an automobile section. Lard tubs held a coil and worm assembly. The outfit was taken to Providence. Garron said he was making liquor for his own use and will be arraigned in United States Court.
