Yale Lighting Committee Faces 500 Deficit in Fund Drive

John D Hill Jr was elected president of the Young Republican Club of Bristol at a regular meeting held in the Hotel Belvedere. The group planned a public opinion poll of 150 Republican voters on possible restatement of national GOP policy. Three Year Old Injured in Hope Street Accident

Carl Russo eight year old son of Mr and Mrs Russo of Chestnut street was injured when struck while attempting to cross Hope street to wait for a school bus. Police reported driver Angelo Gizzarelli of Barrington said he saw the boy on the curb and blew his horn before the collision. The car swerved toward the middle of the road as the child stepped onto the street.
