Mice Fed Putty Consume One-Third Body Weight Daily
Professor Brorer reports experiments showing lightly fed mice sometimes ingest about one third of their weight daily using ordinary putty. When compounds such as carbonate of lead baryta zinc or zinc oxide were added the mice still ate small amounts with little harm, though the patty mix remained reluctant.
