Beach wagons to serve as Bristol ambulances soon
Four beach wagons will be converted into ambulances in Bristol at a total cost around 100 dollars. Each unit will carry two stretchers and field hospital supplies to care for up to 800 people and will be manned by Red Cross Motor Corps volunteers for disaster transport and medical aid.

Bristol Tire Rationing Board Receives Two Applications
The Bristol Tire Rationing committee held its first session at the Kearney Post Home with three members. It received two applications for new tires from an ice and fuel dealer and a Bristol man working in an upstate mill on a national defense project. The dealer must resubmit a filled out form after inspection of his old tires. the mill worker’s case is not covered by the law, so no action is possible. Councilman Paul A. Disciplinary Action Against Youth at Bristol Plant
A 17 year old youth employed by Bristol Manufacturing Company was discharged after throwing an electric light bulb inside the United States Rubber Company plant. Maurice C.
