New Years Eve Dance by Rhode Island State Guard
The Thirteenth Company Rhode Island State Guard hosted a New Year’s Eve dance at the Naval Armory. The Crown Orchestra played from 8:30 pm to 1 am as red white and blue decorations and paper caps colored the crowd. Fireworks like streamers announced the new year with punch served.

Trinity Church Announces Upcoming Services and Epiphany Festivities

English Surgeon to Speak in Bristol on Labrador Work
Dr. H L Paddon, a young English surgeon and colleague of Dr. Grenfell, will lecture in Bristol on Friday Jan 9 at St Michael s Chapel. He shares seven years serving Labrador sites Indian Harbor North West River and work among liveyers and trappers with social service and wartime experiences. The Ivy Guild invites all Bristolians to attend and support his visit.
