Snow cost town $783 from last storm says DPW
Reynolds Northup of the Department of Public Works reports total storm costs to taxpayers at 783 dollars. DPW trucks plowed from 10 p.m. February 20 to noon February 21, with a bulldozer hired for heavy drifts. A sidewalk plow operated three days for 20 hours, and tracks ran through February 22 and 23. Weather brought 9 inches of snow with high winds.

Battery C Plans Open House at State Armory
