Abandoned House at Mt Hope Burns On Brown Property
An abandoned cottage on Brown University property near the Indian museum burned completely last night at 7 20 p m. Fire Chief Oscar A Rishe said the ruin had no value as it was slated for razing. All fire companies responded but the structure was already destroyed. The blaze started from a grass fire whose sparks ignited the shingles.
