Chamber To Study Ordinance Proposes Zoning Changes
The Chamber of Commerce votes to study a proposed Zoning Ordinance set for a March 12 public hearing and a later April town meeting. The plan, drafted five years ago, has no additional residential land, but sets minimum house lot sizes of 4000 or 6000 square feet in major town areas. The study committee includes Orlando Bisbano chair, Raymond A. DeLeo, Charles D Alessio, Ella O Mil Ferris, and Mathan Fisenstadt ex officio. The directors also approve sending a welcome letter to Premier Thread Co. for the former C A Plant site. A March 16 dinner meeting location is to be announced.

Resuscitator To Be Presented By Cup Defenders Club
Samuel Panqua president of the Cup Defenders Club announced last week the club will present a new hand type resuscitator and inhalator to the local rescue squad at a meeting next month. Michael Flynn captain of the rescue squad said he has already acquired the unit and will accept it officially at the meeting. The move aims to provide townspeople with access to the device during emergencies as the squad already has one unit but it is not always available.
