The body of 45 year old Alfred Pelletier of North Providence was found on Mount Hope Bay shore near Bristol after his car was abandoned at Ferry Road. Dr Ralph J Petruces ruled death by his own action by drowning. Pelletier had shown signs of depression and told friends he might take his own life.
