Town Faces 12000 Due for Sidewalk Projects
Domenic Mascola of the Work Relief Bureau reports nearly 12000 is owed to the town by property owners after sidewalk rebuilds. In Hope street alone 6995.14 is due, helping explain a recorded deficit of 3280.12. The annual SUR and WPA costs total 51531.22 with 48251.10 taxpayer-appropriated. state reimbursements of 1200 will lessen the deficit.
