Snow removal crew works through town streets

Two Hospitalized After Metacom Avenue Crash
Frank Cicero 26 and Virginia Sharpe 314 Hope Street were injured when Cicero’s Chevrolet skidded on Metacom Avenue near the Rhode Island Veterans Home at 4 30 p m Saturday. Both were taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Colt Memorial ambulance and listed as fair. The car hit a utility pole splintered at the base. Cicero was unconscious upon police arrival. Sharpe suffered a leg injury and both had to be removed from the vehicle. Passenger Albert Krieger 53 of 42 Colt Street Warren received minor treatment.

Arthur Marcellino, 43, of 190 Water Street, Warren, died at Rhode Island Hospital after injuries from an 8:30 p.m. Sunday crash on Hope Street near Verndale circle.
