Manchester Bullock dies suddenly at Burnside Lodge event
Alvin Manchester Bullock died suddenly Tuesday evening in Grand Army Hall while attending the Burnside Lodge No 34 Knights of Pythias anniversary exercises. The Bristol resident and long time First Baptist Church sexton was 72. Funeral services were held at his residence, with burial in North Cemetery. Bearers included Henry Bullock and Bertram Bullock.

The body of Henry S Swan M D formerly a Bristol physician about forty years ago was brought here yesterday and entombed at Juni per Hill Cemetery on Bay View Heights. He came to Bristol in 1886 lived here about ten years before moving to Massachusetts after his wife Annie Shaw Swan died in 1895. He later resided in Portland Maine where he died. Swan was elected to Bristol School Committee in 1891 and chaired it in 1892.
