Awashonks Herd P O S held a Christmas party at the Scout building on Hope street with games and a Santa Claus gift distribution. Christmas Tree Festival Presents Santa Claus Workshop Play
The Sun day School of State Street Methodist Church staged Santa Claus's Workshop at the Christmas tree festival held Friday evening in the church vestry. Directed by Supt. Harry Town, the cast featured Fred G. Blaisdell as Santa and Miss Hannah Sylvester as Mrs Santa Claus, with children Helen Remieres and Lydia Byone among the participants. The program included carols, prayers by Rev. Charles W. Martin, recitations by primary department members, and gift distribution with fruit and candy for each attendee. A decorated Christmas tie adorned the altar area and donations were presented to the pastor and Mrs Martin, along with committee acknowledgments for the event.

Funeral rites for Mrs Mary Goff and Mary Castiglio
Funeral services were held for Mary Goff at 8:30 AM from 366 High Street and a 9:00 AM requiem at St Marys Church with burial in St Marys Cemetery Warren. Separately Mary Castiglio died of heart disease at 217 Wood Street and funeral mass was at 9:00 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with burial in St Marys Cemetery.
