Tonight features Scout night with Bristol Troop 8S in attendance and prizes on books to be awarded. The fair closes tomorrow with Firemen's night as Hydraulion Engine Company and Bay Spring Fire Company will attend.

Distant shooter found guilty in Providence court
In Superior Court Providence Tuesday, Raffaele Sansole was found guilty of shooting with intent to kill Game Wardens Medbury and Quinn near Mount Hope. He received five years in State Prison plus a $40 fine and costs for possessing two shot squirrels. Sentences on two officer shooting counts run concurrently for a total of five years.
