Auto owners warned on December 12 OPA tire form deadline
Capt Paul A Herzig head of the Rationing Board warned that the deadline for submitting the OPA form listing tire inventory is Saturday December 12. Motorists with more than five tires after that date cannot legally buy gasoline. Forms available at local garages or the Rationing Board office.
