Town Dump Methods Studied by C of C Bristol Chamber
The Bristol Chamber of Commerce board met at the YMCA to hear a preliminary report on a town incinerator by the planning and development committee. Councilman David J Ferris attended. Philip T Bodell chaired the committee, with Earl P Mathewson also present. The study reviews municipal refuse disposal options and notes the town should seriously consider incineration to address recurring dump relocations. The chamber offers to help collect facts and figures for council consideration.
