Health Dept will not attend Bristol Town Council meeting
The State Department of Health informed the Bristol Town Council it will not send representatives to the Sept 7 meeting to discuss Bristol harbor water conditions and bathing place plans. The council may pick another date while the Health Dept invites council members to visit its office for discussion. The council president expressed disappointment at the decision and critics call it a obstacle to securing a suitable bathing place.
