Fire damages basement of Anthony J Bruno home
Firefighters and four local companies responded to a basement blaze at 67 Burton Street in Anthony J Bruno’s three tenement building. The fire, likely from an oil burner in the cellar, caused smoke damage though a home made sprinkler limited the impact. Dorothy Bruno, a grocery clerk, discovered the blaze. Other tenants include Frank Remueres and Matthew Cucciola.
