Obituary of Russell Lowe 3rd in Providence
Capt and Mrs Russell Lowe of Lincoln Avenue mourn the death of their three year old son Russell at Rhode Island Hospital Providence. The child fell ill Sunday night with indigestion later found to be appendicitis despite medical care. Parents plan to take the body to Nova Scotia for interment. The Lowes have lived in Providence since last April and previously resided in Nova Scotia. Another child died shortly before their move to Bristol.

Soldier’s Home entertainment given by Browne Woman’s Relief Corps
The Browne Woman’s Relief Corps entertains residents of the Visitation Soldiers Home on Wednesday. Mrs Elizabeth A Lefnog arranged the program featuring vocal and instrumental selections, folk dancing and recitations. Attendees included Mrs Charles McCarthy and pupils Lydia Dawley Helen Rollins Mildred Crosby, and George Clough. A party of about 30 traveled by auto to the Home from Franklin Street Station.

Mrs Philomena Gladue died Wednesday at her Thames Street home from old age related illness. She was 77 and survived by three sons and one daughter. The funeral was held at St Marys Church today at 9 am with interment in St Marys Cemetery.
