Bristol bats dominate Fort Rodman in 7 to 2 win

The Bristols defeated Fort Rodman 7 to 2 at Fort Rodman New Bedford Mass in a windy game witnessed by a large regional crowd. Bristol hitters collected thirteen hits off Kite while Clark limited Fort Rodman to one safe hit aided by six walks. Carrier starred with four singles in five at bats for Bristol as Delbac and Albino contributed for Fort Rodman. The Fort Rodmans scored first in the second on an error and a misplay, with Bristol responding in the fourth and later, while Bristol’s pitching and defense kept the home team from mounting a rally. Dolave umpired and Bristol plans another visit Aug 380 with hopes of a star pitcher to repeat the triumph.
