The Bristol town council accepted an invitation to participate in Welcome Home Day next Wednesday and authorized expenses of 1500 for the celebration. Health Officer Magee was authorized to buy milk testing utensils priced 10 to 11 dollars. Auto Crash Near Lafayette House Injures Four
An automobile carrying Mr and Mrs Maurice Mansheld their 5 year old son Joseph and two other women collided with a tree near the Lafayette house on Bristol Neck. Mrs Mansfield and the boy suffered cuts requiring stitches. one woman was bruised and another jolted. Mr Mansfeld escaped injury and the injured were treated at Frank T Kinni cutt’s house before being returned home. The grocery truck driver did not see the crash. The wrecked car was towed away.

Will Try His Skill At Grand American Trap Meet

Welcome Home Bristol World War I Celebration Plans
Bristol residents plan a major Welcome Home parade next Wednesday at 10 am honoring local men and women who served in the war. Six bands two drum corps and 200 Junior Naval Reserve from Camp Sims plus the Naval Training Station band and Boy Scouts Band of Fall River will appear. Col. M A Cheesman will serve as Chief Marshal and stores are urged to close for a Bristol holiday.

Bristol Man Arrested After Main Street Assaults
Joseph Chirello of Bristol was arrested Wednesday evening and brought before Warren District Court Thursday charged with assaulting Postmaster John McPike Martin W O Neil restaurant keeper and Police Patrolman James Cronin. Bail set at 4000 with 2000 for O Neil and 1000 for Cronin and McPike. Police seek three other Bristol youths and Edward Goleski of Warren for aiding the assault at Smiths drug store on Main Street.
