Bristol has not yet learned if it will receive federal funds for a bilingual education program this year. A HEW spokesman said decisions for new and renewing projects vary. East Providence West Warwick and Central Falls have approvals. The town seeks 135 691 dollars to serve about 230 students with planning already under way for kindergarten bilingual education.
