Accidental Stake Wound On Pawtucket Roofer
Q A Smith a 25 year old Pawtucket roof repairer employed by Mr Odell was injured yesterday on a roof on Stats street. He fell onto a wooden stake two inches in diameter embedded through the flesh above the elbow. He walked off the stake to the doctor and the knotty stick was removed. He faces several weeks recovery with possible blood poisoning risk.

Canon Chase in Contempt Proceedings Not Sentenced
Rev. Canon William Sheafe Chase rector of Christ Church Williamsburg did not appear for sentence in contempt proceedings in Justice Marean's Brooklyn court Saturday morning. He remained in Woonsocket with his mother and at Oak Bluffs for the summer, under legal advice that appearance for sentence was not mandatory. The case arose from his comment on a moving picture injunction, and no papers were issued to compel his appearance.

Edward J. Kickaum of Boston drowned in Benedict Pond Providence on Saturday while swimming. He was 80, visiting relatives for the first time in 18 years. Charles Everard of 111 Broadway tried to save him as Kickum’s birth is not recorded at the Town Clerk’s office per John M. Coggeshall.
