Wilcox and Gross win the doubles final, with White and George earning a doubles finalist berth. Large crowds attend both finals as the event posts strong financial returns for the Y.M.C.A. Tennis Club.
A crowd on the common Saturday awaited St Marys of this town to play Wellingtons of Providence, but the visitors failed to appear.
