The north end addition will be two stories high and 100 by 50 feet. When completed the factory will manufacture the two million circular cable, the largest made. Current daily output is 2400 pairs, with a 5000 gallon naphtha tank weighing 3500 pounds bought from Standard Oil and placed behind the buildings.

In a dramatic Inter-State League game at the Common, Attleboro rallied from a 4 1 deficit to beat Bristol 5 4. Boyle pitched well in his Bristol debut, but four ninth inning Bristol errors and baserunning miscues allowed Attleboro to steal the win before a late Bristol rally could tie or win.
